While inadequate income remains the fundamental worry, warung owners still encounter numerous other substantial hurdles on a daily basis, including those pertaining to gender. Following our extensive studies on the disproportionate amount of roles primarily held by women in the community, we seek to gain a better understanding of the ways in which they manage their warung business, on top of measuring the impact of Warung Pintar’s initiatives in accommodating the needs of Indonesia’s grassroots businesses.
